| Interpretatie: | anti-LKM kan toegevoegde waarde hebben in een kleine groep van patienten met autoimmuun hepatitis (AIH) type 2 (positiviteit met anti-LKM , ANA-negatief).
Anti-LKM is met name geindiceerd in patienten positief voor hepatitis C. Wanneer voor de behandeling met interferon-alpha positiviteit voor anti-LKM wordt gevonden is dit een prognostisch slecht teken, aangezien de behandeling met interferon in deze patienten kan leiden tot klinisch manifeste AIH. |
